Create Your Practitioner Profile
PRACTITIONER PHOTO GUIDELINES
Providing good photographs of our Practitioners is a key part of normalising and demystifying the Aura-Soma consultation. It offers those thinking about taking their first step with Aura-Soma a friendly face to connect to – someone they are willing to reach out to and walk their wellness journey with.
It is important that the style and quality of photography portrays Aura-Soma in a professional and trust-worthy way. We have created the following guide to help you achieve the best photography for your Aura-Soma profile.
Here is a guide for how your Practitioner portrait should look:
Pose
Natural and candid, smiling and looking to camera. (No products in shot.)
Crop
Head and shoulders only, no hands. A comfortable distance from the camera, not too close. We’d like a clear view of, and focus on, your eyes to connect with our audience. If you are wearing glasses be careful of reflections on the lens and try keep them to a minimum.
For best results the image should be 472 x459 pixels.
Clothing
No logos or heavy patterns.
Background
Light with minimal distractions. It’s best to keep it plain so the focus is on you.
Post-production
Minimal retouching only. Don’t use any graphic overlays such as stars, lights or fades.
Quality
Make sure the image is sharp and your camera on the highest setting.
